Over 150 young people, their parents and carers partied at the family friendly event organised by Chilton Town Council and Luke the Revolution from Revos Raves.
On the afternoon of 27th July 2024 Chilton Community Sports and Social Club was transformed into a vibrant hub of music, dance, and laughter. The Family Rave event was a resounding success, drawing families from the local area.
One of the Council’s priorities is to work with families and young to provide events that support improving health, wellbeing, and building active communities.
Cllr Pearl Malpas explained the event has grown year on year and was originally requested by the young people of Chilton.
She asked that a special mention be given to the young MCs of the event, SP80 JNR and MC HARVI. Their energetic and engaging sets kept the crowd on their feet, dancing and singing along.
It was a day when everyone could let loose and enjoy, and the whole family could join in on the fun. We look forward to more such events in the future, bringing our community together. A big thank you to Luke and all the performers, volunteers, Councillors and participants who made this event a great success.
