In addition,\u00a0<span class=\"x_whitespace-normal\">Avant Homes<\/span>\u00a0held a public meeting on 25 February to provide further information and answer questions from members of the community.<\/p><p>Comments can be submitted directly through the\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/publicaccess.durham.gov.uk\/online-applications\/search.do?action=simple&amp;searchType=Application\" href=\"https:\/\/publicaccess.durham.gov.uk\/online-applications\/search.do?action=simple&amp;searchType=Application\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"0\">County Council\u2019s planning portal<\/a>\u00a0by searching using the reference number\u00a0DM\/26\/00024\/FPA.<\/p><p>Comments can also be submitted\u00a0using this <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/chiltondurham-tc.gov.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Avant-Homes-Consultation-Feedback.pdf\">form<\/a><\/strong>. Completed comment forms may be delivered to Hutton House or sent by email to\u00a0<br \/><strong>townclerk@chiltondurham-tc.gov.uk<\/strong>. Officers will forward all submissions to the relevant Planning Officer.<\/p><p>The Town Council will submit a response to the planning authority reflecting the views expressed by residents and will continue to provide updates as the application progresses.
