Part-Time Cleaner Required
Chilton Town Council is looking for a reliable and conscientious Cleaner to help keep the Council’s and its charitable Trust buildings clean, safe and welcoming for staff, Councillors and members of the public.
The role involves cleaning three sites each week, including offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and public toilet facilities.
Duties include:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Cleaning kitchens and toilets
- Emptying bins
- Replenishing soap, toilet rolls and paper towels and assisting with stock control
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety issues
We are looking for someone who:
- Is dependable and trustworthy
- Takes pride in their work
- Has a good eye for detail
- Can work independently and flexibly
- Has previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential)
Hours: 8 hours per week (flexible hours; working pattern to be agreed)
Salary: £12.71 per hour
