Terms and Conditions of the Competition
• All Photographs, drawings, paintings, sculptures, Collages or items of craft must
be submitted to Hutton House by 12noon Wednesday 5th March 2025.
• Digital copies of photographs will be accepted by emailing to
NeighbourhoodPlan@chiltondurham-tc.gov.uk, under subject Future Heritage
Entry.
• The entry must relate to a place, space, building or monument within the Chilton
Town boundary. It must not contain an image of a recognisable person, brand or
logo unless you have obtained the relevant permission.
• Each competitor can submit up to a maximum of 4 entries in each category
• Competitors must be residents of Chilton or attend a school, club, association
or work in Chilton. Each entry must include, name, age, postcode and contact
information (and if applicable your organisation.
• Members and StaI of Chilton town Council are not eligible.
• The winning entries will be chosen by a panel of judges with external
representation from DCC Planning Team and Chilton& Windlestone 150 years.
• Criterial will be based on Creativity, originality and visual impact
• Entries will be used to assist with identifying non-designated heritage assets as
part of the Neighbourhood Plan
• Winning Entries will be included as images on the Chilton Calendar 2026
By submitting an entry, you agree to the above terms and conditions and will
also allow your entry to be used in any promotional material, exhibition or
images relating to the Chilton Neighbourhood Plan.
