Fees and charges

Chilton Town Council is committed to providing clear and accessible information about the fees and charges related to cemetery services.

The fees below cover burials, exclusive rights of burial, memorial permissions and other services offered within the cemetery.

These fees and payments are fixed under Section 214 and Schedule 26 of the Local Government Act 1972 and also in accordance with Article 15(1) of the Local Authorities Cemeteries Order 1977.

These fees are for residents of Chilton and Catholic residents from Ferryhill only. For anyone who is not a resident, the fees are double.
