Access Burial Records: For those tracing their genealogy or researching family history, we offer access to burial records for individuals interred in our cemeteries. These records contain essential information to help you piece together your family tree.
Search Fee: A small fee of £5 applies for each search. Once payment is received, an officer will diligently assist you in accessing the requested information.
How to Request a Search
- Complete the Search Request Form. Email completed form to info@chiltondurham-tc.gov.uk or by post to Chilton Town Council, Hutton House, Durham Road, Chilton, County Durham, DL17 0HE
- Submit the form with payment of £5. Payment can be made via cash, cheque (made payable to Chilton Town Council) or bank transfer (details on request).
- Allow up to 2 weeks for results to be processed and shared.
